爱情岛's Laura Anderson, 30, came face to face with fellow alumni Yewandi Biali, 23, after a video emerged of the Scottish star branding the Irish beauty's dancing "aggressive."

The bash, which was to celebrate their 爱情岛 pal Anna Vakili and her sister Mandi's collaboration with online shoe retailer Simmi Shoes, was held in a private dining area at Buddha Bar in Knightsbridge on Tuesday night.

The intimate setting and small guestlist would have meant Laura and Yewande would have struggled to not bump into one another.

Also in attendance at the party, where the guests sipped on cocktails and enjoyed sushi, was Amy Hart, Amber Gill, Francesca Allen, Joanna Chiminodes, Elma Pazar and Gabby Allen .

Their "awkward encounter" came after Laura was slammed after a video emerged of her dancing with Yewande at Ovie Soko's ASOS clothing line launch party at Night Tales nightclub in London in September.

In the footage, captured by former Islander Belle Hassan, the air hostess could be seen on the dance floor at the venue as she grasped onto Yewande's arm as they danced to US rapper Cardi B's hit song Bodak Yellow.

She then could be seen dancing solo as she bobbed along to the music and sipped on her drink before mouthing to the camera “so aggressive.”

After the clip was shared online via Belle's Instagram stories, social media users flocked to Laura's grid to criticise her behaviour - below a snap she uploaded of herself at the clothing brand bash.

One upset social media user typed: "What did yewande do that was aggressive. Your at a club to enjoy yourself aren’t you."

Another asked: "Why were you calling Yewande aggressive when all she was doing was dancing? Did she force you to be in her space?"

"Sorry but how was Yewande being aggressive? Smh black women can’t dance in peace" and "She’s soo aggressive” move man and stay at home moving like like you’re some 70 year old" typed some disgruntled followers.

In response to the comments, the star wrote: “What the hellllll. Trolling on point. I was out with yewande ? aggressive dancing is like energetic Jesus why are we talking about race here. Baffled. I’m 30 lol  #ageist .”

She then added: “I’m literally in shock. I don’t get what’s wrong with the one aggressive when dancing. Her fave song I think, she went in.” [sic]

However, this led to fans urging the beauty to be “stop lying and to “admit she is in the wrong.”

" @lauraanderson1x  being in the public eye you need to be mindful of what you say even if you dont mean offence. You’ve clearly slipped up and upset alot of people by your comment so why don’t you just take accountability, educate yourself and apologise its really that simple but people never want to admit that they’re in the wrong which is the problem instead you are here trying to sugarcoat it” contributed a follower.

Others added: “ @lauraanderson1x  if you meant energetic you should of said that, instead of pulling her arm and then putting on a scared face while saying she’s very ‘aggressive’, and, “ @lauraanderson1x  aggressive is not energetic. Stop lying ?”

It was not the first time Laura commented on Yewande's behaviour.

During the 2019 series of 爱情岛, Laura gave an interview to the Daily Star where she admitted she was not a fan if Yewande’s fiery personality.

She said:"Yewande has shown a side of herself that I don’t really like.

"She’s being a bit of a moody brat. Her behaviour was really uncomfortable to watch and I’m not sure she deserves Danny.

"I don’t think it will work between them in the long run.  I don’t think she can expect much from Danny if she isn't giving him much attention.

"She is a nice girl but she is playing it wrong."
